Location: Remote (Healthcare Industry Focus)

Type: This role begins as a fractional contract position at approximately 5 to 20 hours per week. There is significant and growing client demand for our product management services, and we expect this engagement to expand into a part-time or full-time opportunity for the right person in the coming weeks and months.

The Role

We’re looking for a high-potential, ambitious Product Management Manager who’s eager to make a real impact for clients and help shape a growing practice.

This is a hands-on, senior individual contributor role for someone who can own product management deliverables, support client-facing strategy and work closely with a Director of Product Management without heavy oversight.

You’ll work across a range of healthcare clients and internal initiatives, developing go-to-market strategies, positioning frameworks, sales enablement content, and product launch assets. You’ll have visibility into complex healthcare product ecosystems — SaaS platforms, e.g. payment integrity solutions, patient engagement tools, AI-native applications — and be expected to get up to speed quickly and execute well.

We are especially interested in candidates who understand how healthcare buyers think, how clinical workflows operate and how to translate complex solutions into practical value for payers, providers and health IT buyers.

What You’ll Do

• Support product strategy and roadmap planning for client and internal healthcare product initiatives
• Translate healthcare workflows, user needs, business requirements and market feedback into clear product priorities
• Develop PRDs, user stories, requirements documents, workflow maps, roadmap summaries and release plans
• Support product discovery through stakeholder interviews, user research, market analysis and competitive review
• Help define MVP scope, prioritize features and support clients in making tradeoffs based on business value, user need and development effort
• Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, implementation, customer success and client-facing teams
• Support product launches from discovery through development, release, adoption and optimization
• Help clients clarify product vision, user workflows, buyer needs, business value and execution priorities
• Help identify product gaps, workflow friction, market opportunities and opportunities for AI-enabled improvement
• Support or coordinate with product owners, product managers or cross-functional contributors when needed
• Support Envision’s internal product initiatives, including MyPatientFirst and other healthcare SaaS concepts
• Help improve product management processes, documentation standards and delivery frameworks
• Manage multiple product workstreams simultaneously with minimal oversight

What You Bring

Required Experience

• 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in B2B healthcare, health IT or SaaS
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex healthcare workflows, user needs and business requirements into practical product decisions and clear development priorities
• Experience developing product strategy, roadmaps, PRDs, user stories, requirements documents and release plans
• Strong understanding of how to gather, synthesize and prioritize customer, stakeholder and market feedback
• Experience supporting or leading product launches from discovery through development, release and adoption
• Ability to work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, implementation and client-facing teams
• Comfort working in an agency, consulting or client-service environment with multiple client priorities
• Familiarity with healthcare audiences such as payers, providers, health systems, self-insured employers or health IT buyers
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines and own product-related deliverables without heavy oversight
• Strong product documentation skills, including the ability to produce clear PRDs, user stories, workflow maps, roadmap summaries and stakeholder-ready product briefs with minimal rework
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain product decisions, tradeoffs and priorities to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Strong Differentiators

• Clinical or healthcare operations background
• Experience managing SaaS products in healthcare or health IT
• Familiarity with categories such as RCM, payment integrity, patient engagement, ambient documentation, prior authorization and other key innovative areas in healthcare
• Experience with early-stage products, MVP development or product-market fit validation
• Working knowledge of HIPAA, CMS programs, healthcare quality measures or regulatory context
• Experience creating workflow maps, user journeys, feature prioritization frameworks, product briefs and product launch plans
• Proficiency with standard product management tools; comfort using AI-assisted workflows for research, documentation, workflow analysis and product planning is a plus
