Maintenance Planner Full Time NEW

Position Summary
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating all maintenance activities to ensure the reliability, availability, and efficiency of plant equipment and facilities. This role is key to reducing downtime, optimizing maintenance resources, and supporting safe, cost-effective operations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Planning & Scheduling

• Develop and manage detailed maintenance schedules for equipment, machinery, and facilities in collaboration with maintenance and operations teams.
• Prioritize work based on equipment criticality, production needs, and safety considerations.
• Coordinate planned maintenance during scheduled downtime to minimize operational disruption.
• Ensure labor, tools, materials, and documentation are available prior to job execution.

Work Order Management

• Create, plan, and prioritize work orders within the CMMS system.
• Monitor work order progress, adjust schedules as needed, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and operating procedures.

Spare Parts & Inventory Control

• Identify required parts and materials for planned work and ensure timely availability.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to balance equipment reliability and cost control.
• Partner with procurement to source materials, manage vendors, and support cost-effective purchasing.

Maintenance Data & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance history, equipment performance, and completed work.
• Track and report key performance indicators such as uptime, backlog, and maintenance efficiency.
• Use data insights to improve planning accuracy and resource utilization.

Continuous Improvement

• Analyze maintenance trends to identify opportunities for reliability improvements and cost savings.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring equipment issues.
• Drive standardization of maintenance processes and best practices across the facility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in Mechanical, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance planning or related experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong working knowledge of CMMS platforms and maintenance planning tools.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.

Pay: $27.00 per hour
