Live Goods Inventory (Green Goods) Full Time NEW

Job Overview
Live/Green Goods Inventory involves the physical and administrative management of live, “green goods” products within the greenhouse. Live Goods within the greenhouse involves updating the availability of any live plant goods. (Hard Goods Inventory oversees pots, planters, soil, tags, labels and plastic goods).

Responsibilities

• Maintains and monitors all required information in the Company’s inventory databases

· Performs accurate physical inventory counts of all live goods, updates count in Picas (ERP system), and reconcile any discrepancies

· Works closely with sales, production, fulfillment, and growing to ensure inventory accuracy and availability

· Makes recommendations on product ready for sale

· Identifies issues and works with appropriate parties for resolution to reconcile discrepancies

· Tracks and provides status of ad items

· Monitors sowing, cutting, and transplant verifications in Picas (ERP system) when needed

· Verifies Move and Dump Reports that update inventory counts and location in Picas.

· Follows end-of-month and end-of-year protocols for live goods to ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing (specifically, finished goods)

· Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry.

· Completes other responsibilities and tasks as assigned

· Plays key role in biannual inventory counts and audits.

· Accurately maintains and updates sowing, cutting, and transplant verifications in Picas.

· Prints sowing, cutting and transplant reports and other reports needed and distributes

· Update Production locations in One Note

Requirements

• Self-starter, capable of defining processes and procedures based on desired outcomes for a quality product.

· Strong skills in process improvement, product analysis, and industry-specific knowledge.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to inform and emphasize quality standards.

· High attention to detail and thoroughness in handling tasks.

· Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.

· Customer service orientation with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
