Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Lead Software Specialist. The Lead Software Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software solutions. This role involves leading programming efforts, managing database architecture, ensuring the quality and scalability of the software, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions for the YC Bench platform.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming with expertise in relevant programming languages
• Strong experience in Databases, including design, management, and optimization
• Knowledge and practical application of Software Design principles
• Skills in Testing methodologies and ensuring software quality
• Leadership experience in managing software development projects and teams
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote team environment
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with forecasting models, data analytics, or experience in the startup domain is a plus
