Job Summary:

The Land Tech position is an entry-level role focused on foundational land work, research, document preparation, and data entry, supporting the Land Associate and senior staff. While primarily behind-the-scenes, this role is crucial, requiring knowledge of basic oil & gas terminology, exceptional organizational skills, and keen attention to detail. Familiarity with land-related data, contracts, leases, titles, and landowner issues is essential for advancement within the field. The Land Tech plays a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient land management processes within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct basic land research and data gathering
• Prepare and organize documents related to land transactions
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
• Assist Land Associates and senior staff with various tasks
• Handle basic inquiries related to oil & gas terminology and land management
• Support in the preparation of reports and presentations
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Skills:

• Basic knowledge of oil & gas terminology and land management practices
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Requirements:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
