LADAC Full Time

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LADAC (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counselor) to join our healthcare team. The LADAC will provide specialized counseling services to individuals struggling with substance use disorders, supporting their recovery journey through evidence-based practices. This role requires a strong commitment to client well-being, confidentiality, and professional development within a supportive environment. The LADAC will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans and facilitate positive behavioral changes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ substance use history, mental health status, and social factors to inform treatment planning.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions focused on addiction recovery, relapse prevention, and life skills development.
• Educate clients and their families about substance use disorders, treatment options, and coping strategies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, social workers, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Stay current with best practices in addiction counseling through ongoing training and professional development.
• Adhere to all licensing regulations and ethical standards related to LADAC practice.

Experience

• Valid LADAC certification/license required; additional certifications in mental health or related fields are a plus.
• Prior experience working with individuals facing substance use challenges is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse populations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Knowledge of evidence-based addiction treatment modalities such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), or 12-step facilitation is desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
