Key Job Responsibilities
- Support technicians and mechanics in disassembling and assembling marine engine components.
- Handle tools and equipment as directed, ensuring proper usage and care.
- Provide general assistance to the repair team to ensure efficient workflow.
- Aid in setting up tools and equipment required for repairs.
- Track supplies, restock items as needed, and ensure the work area is clean and organized.
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude toward improving technical skills and understanding of the repair process.
- Always adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Follow instructions carefully to ensure safe handling of tools, equipment, and materials.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical or vocational training in electronic/mechanical, engineering, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and adhere to safety protocols.
- Good organizational skills to assist with parts, tools, and inventory management.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with technicians, mechanics, and team members.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and equipment used in mechanical repairs.
- Willingness to travel as required for work assignments.
