Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale Area for a Junior Staff Accountant. The Junior Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting in daily accounting activities, including transaction recording, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. Additional tasks include preparing and maintaining financial records, supporting month-end and year-end closing processes, aiding in accounts payable and receivable functions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations. The role requires collaboration with other team members to support financial operations and continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting department.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in general accounting principles, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Prior experience in accounting or finance roles is a plus
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities
