Junior Licensed Attorney
La Mirada, CA $110,000 – $140,000 DOE Full-Time | In-Office Preferred
We are seeking a motivated and professional Junior Licensed Attorney to join our growing company. This position is ideal for an attorney with 0–3 years of experience looking to grow within a fast-paced construction and business environment.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, professional, and able to assist with day-to-day legal matters involving contracts, employment issues, compliance, and company operations.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and revise contracts and agreements
- Assist with employment and HR-related legal matters
- Help ensure compliance with California labor laws and business regulations
- Review customer, vendor, and subcontractor agreements
- Assist with collections, disputes, and legal correspondence
- Support insurance and workers’ compensation matters
- Coordinate with outside counsel when necessary
- Provide legal guidance to management on daily operations
- Assist with permits, licensing, and business documentation
Qualifications
- Active California Bar license required
- 0–3 years of attorney experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Professional and solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience or interest in construction, business, or employment law is a plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
