We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Junior Full-Stack Web Developer to join the IT team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about clean code and delivering stable, functional features. Working alongside the senior developer, you will contribute to both front-end and back-end development of our healthcare web applications, with the opportunity to grow your skills across the full technology stack.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop front-end and back-end features for our web applications
• Design, implement, and test code under the guidance of the senior developer
• Maintain existing codebases and fix bugs
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to team development standards
• Write and maintain technical documentation (e.g. code changes)
• Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional departments on multiple projects. 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Strong problem-solving skills and debugging ability. The ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset for team-based projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or related field of study or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the field.
• Proven experience in building functional web projects and/or contributing to open-source or team-based codebases.
• Strong willingness to learn and growAbility to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
• Must be able to work on-site in our Gardena laboratory/office.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• Track record working with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Understanding of Docker-based development environments
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to write test code (Jest, Mocha, etc.)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Understanding of Docker-based development environments
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or similar is a plus. 
• Technical communication skills in English
• Understanding of healthcare or regulated environments (HIPAA, etc.)
• Exposure to healthcare, wellness, or regulated environments 

SCHEDULE

• 9:00 AM to 5:30PM from Monday to Friday

OPEN Healthcare US offers a competitive salary and benefits package.  The reasonable estimated salary for this role ranges from $80,000 to $110,000 per year.  Actual compensation is based upon factors such as the candidate’s education, skills, qualifications, related work experience, and etc.
