Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Developer to join our development team. The Junior Developer will assist in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining software applications while gaining hands-on experience and learning best practices from senior developers. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career developers looking to build a strong foundation in software development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining web or software applications
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code under guidance
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues
• Collaborate with senior developers, QA teams, and product managers
• Participate in code reviews and team knowledge-sharing sessions
• Learn and apply new technologies, frameworks, and development tools
• Support maintenance and enhancement of existing applications
• Follow software development lifecycle processes and coding standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 0–2 years of experience in software development (internships welcome)
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript)
• Basic understanding of web development, databases, or software frameworks
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue)
• Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases
• Understanding of REST APIs and software integration
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
