Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Cloud Support Engineer to provide technical support for cloud-based infrastructure, applications, and services. The successful candidate will troubleshoot complex technical issues, assist customers and internal teams, monitor cloud environments, and help ensure the reliability, security, and performance of cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for cloud infrastructure, services, and applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues involving compute, storage, networking, and security.
• Monitor cloud environments and respond to incidents, alerts, and service disruptions.
• Assist with cloud deployments, configurations, upgrades, and migrations.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and development teams to resolve technical issues.
• Investigate root causes of incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Document troubleshooting procedures, solutions, and technical knowledge articles.
• Support system performance optimization and capacity planning activities.
• Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and cloud best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in cloud support, technical support, systems administration, or a related role.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, load balancing, and firewalls.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with ticketing and incident management systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or related cloud certifications are a plus.
