Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Software Tester to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team. In this role, you will help ensure software applications meet quality standards by identifying bugs, testing functionality, and supporting the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for technology and software quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute manual and basic automated tests for web, mobile, and software applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and issues.
• Collaborate with developers and QA team members to resolve bugs and improve product quality.
• Review software requirements and technical specifications to create test cases.
• Perform regression, functional, usability, and performance testing.
• Assist in maintaining testing documentation and reports.
• Verify fixes and ensure applications meet quality standards before release.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
• Support software deployment and post-release testing activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts and QA methodologies.
• Familiarity with web and mobile applications.
• Knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or Postman.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Understanding of Agile or Scrum development processes.
• Interest in automation testing and software development lifecycle practices.
