Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitorial Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. This role involves performing custodial duties in both Indoor and outdoor settings, with a focus on floor care, maintenance, and general cleaning tasks.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas, including assigned outside buildings, laundry areas.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to ensure high-quality floor maintenance.
• Daily cleaning toliets, sinks, shower stalls and mopping floors
• Maintain cleanliness in restrooms and common areas, ensuring supplies are stocked and facilities are sanitary.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Experience

• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial services is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and industrial cleaning techniques is a plus.
• Skills in floor care methods such as buffing and waxing are highly desirable.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within designated time frames.
