Team is based mostly around Charlotte, NC; regular business hours are on East Coast time with flexibity.
Pay Range
$33.05 – $49.60
Major Responsibilities
Analyze, develop and improve data platform solutions to meet business needs. Collaborate with operations teams to help design and document metrics that align with strategic objectives and ensure effective use of data.
Manage small-scale projects and requests and assist on medium to large projects using standard project management tools and methodologies.
Support the translation of business requirements into well-designed and validated data solutions that meet organizational goals including assisting in the analysis and validation of data from raw source to data solution.
Provide accurate and complete documentation for all tasks, following industry standards.
Provide support for ETL/ELT/data solutions, including problem analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
Support training and educating users on tools and support upgrades/changes in all phases as well as appropriate data solution administration activities such as on call where necessary.
Build professional skills by maintaining awareness of healthcare environment, platform technology (cloud and on prem), evidence based leadership, and informatics industry trends. In addition, to maintaining the Epic Cogito certification.
Complete projects, requests and work that advance EHR, ERP and/or data skills
Minimum Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent knowledge.
Certification / Registration / License
Experience
No experience required with Degree. Equivalent experience in enterprise applications, data/BI tools, and/or database query/report writing required without a degree.

Assists with medium to large complex projects and manages small projects through all phases of solution development. This position defines, creates, and maintains data solutions while providing technical expertise for both Cloud and On-Prem data environment. Position requires understanding of databases, data modeling, and data visualization concepts with ability to grow and apply these principles across multiple platforms in development of data products and assets that present data and information in a meaningful way to Enterprise leadership. Supports the maintenance of the database dictionaries, and monitors standards and procedures. Responsible for production support and maintenance of the data solutions, data processes, and reporting tools, and for promoting the standardization of our data platforms and tool sets.
