Position overview

The Inventory Lead oversees stock accuracy and team performance in a cold storage warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform cycle counts, track stock levels, and resolve discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy
• Train, support, and monitor warehouse staff to ensure productivity and policy compliance
• Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to update inventory records and generate reports
• Inspect incoming and stored goods for accuracy, proper labeling, and damage
• Oversee safe operation of equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks), secure equipment at shift close, and complete all required documentation

Requirements

• 1–2 years of warehouse/distribution experience; prior WMS experience required
• Experience operating warehouse equipment — pallet jack or order picker required, OSHA forklift certification preferred
• Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment (ambient, cooler, and freezer)
• Ability to lift 10–35 lbs regularly and up to 80 lbs occasionally
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) and strong verbal/written communication
