Role Overview
We are seeking a mature, highly experienced Administrative Professional to join our home care team. This role is primarily responsible for the seamless onboarding of new patients. In addition to a competitive pay rate, the ideal candidate is someone who prides themselves on accuracy, possesses a deep understanding of the home care industry, and can manage complex data with zero margin for error.
Schedule & Hours
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
- A stable, consistent weekday schedule
Key Responsibilities
Patient Onboarding:
- Act as the primary point of contact for new families, guiding them through the intake process with empathy and professionalism.
Data Management:
- Utilize Advanced Excel to track patient status, manage schedules, and maintain meticulous records.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure all state-mandated and agency-specific paperwork is completed accurately and filed according to regulations.
Quality Control:
- Review files to ensure no mistakes are made during the transition from inquiry to active care.
Required Qualifications
Industry Experience:
- Proven experience specifically within Home Care or Healthcare Administration.
Technical Mastery:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data entry, and organization) is non-negotiable.
Professional Maturity:
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion and lead the onboarding process with confidence.
Attention to Detail:
- An “eagle eye” for detail; someone who double-checks your work to ensure it is error-free, is a must.
Communication:
- Strong verbal and written skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and clinical staff.
Language Requirement:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
