JOB DESCRIPTION

Implementation Data Specialist is responsible for using various tools to complete data conversions from other software packages. Responsibilities include performing activities such as: data scrubbing, data transfer, data imports, mapping items, and researching issues. This position requires the ability to work together as a team, have regular interaction with both internal and external clients, and the ability to maintain good professional relationships with the Implementation Team.

• Researches, analyzes and documents scope of work for data conversion projects.
• Uses all available tools to complete data processing jobs in a timely and accurate manner.
• Coordinates the conversion of various types of payroll data.
• Converts data from multiple sources including text files, PDFs, and Excel files to an import-ready format.
• Prepares and imports employee demographics, payroll history, and other relevant information.
• Processes payroll history and audit comparison reports.
• Audits payroll and tax information.
• Assists with system set up for client-elected services.
• Communicates project status and ensure data accuracy with the Implementation department.
• Identifies and troubleshoots issues. taking the proper actions to resolve them.
• Responsible for verifying conversion accuracy.
• Ability to quickly gain working knowledge of product to review converted data with clients and answer questions.
• Handles support calls from team members of other departments.
• Assists in creating documentation on current processes.
• Delivers outstanding service and ensures timely, quality solutions for Implementation partners.
• Stays up-to-date on payroll and HR regulations as to ensure compliance as well as for certification upkeep when relevant.
• Maintains knowledge of control objectives for position and department.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers/scanners. Overtime work may be required during quarter end and year end processes.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday, and the employee is required to work an approved schedule that falls within the Company business hours of 8am-6pm. Overtime work may be required during quarter end and year end processes.

Required Education And Experience

• Possesses a growth mindset and passion for learning.
• Data conversion experience or a combination of education and experience.
• Previous payroll service bureau experience a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of fundamental accounting principles and practices.
• Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
• High understanding of and ability to develop proficiency in Company software and all other applicable software programs.
• Highly motivated, proactive, detail oriented, and accountable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage and complete multiple projects with strict deadlines, demonstrating impeccable time management skills.
