This position saddles grades 6 and 7 with a combination of a traditional Literature and History class alongside an interdisciplinary Humanities block course focused on American Innovations. Therefore, the ideal candidate has experience teaching reading, writing, history, and/or humanities and demonstrates a passion for adolescent literature, a desire to explore and connect across disciplines, and a commitment for addressing the individual child in their instruction through novel and innovative classroom experiences.
