Overview
We are seeking an experienced Truck Collision Technician to repair and restore damaged commercial vehicles, including heavy-duty trucks and trailers. This role requires strong technical skills in structural repair, panel replacement, and refinishing preparation, along with a commitment to quality workmanship and safety.
Duties
- Inspect and assess collision-damaged trucks and trailers
- Perform structural repairs, including frame and body alignment
- Repair or replace damaged panels, parts, and components
- Conduct metalwork, welding, and fabrication as needed
- Disassemble and reassemble vehicles for repair processes
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, grinding, and masking
- Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and company standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and shop guidelines
- Communicate repair progress with management and team members
Requirements
- Proven experience in truck or heavy-duty collision repair
- Strong knowledge of body repair techniques and equipment
- Welding and fabrication experience required
- Ability to read and understand repair estimates and work orders
- Experience with frame machines and measuring systems preferred
- Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay: $70,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
