About NERD.aero

Specialist aviation IT consultancy and software firm serving airlines, airports, business aviation operators, MRO providers, and charter brokers worldwide. Established in Europe, now expanding into the US through NERD.aero America on the Florida Space Coast.

The role

Our first commercial hire in the Americas. You will own the region end-to-end as an individual contributor — opening doors, building pipeline, and closing deals for our aviation software and consulting services. Reporting initially into European Business Development, with a clear path to leading the US commercial organisation as the business grows.

You will have direct access to our CEO (relocating to Florida in 2026 to lead the expansion) and to the European teams delivering the work.

What you will do

• Own the full sales cycle — prospecting through close — for services and software in the Americas
• Build relationships with decision-makers at business aviation operators, charter brokers, airlines, airports, and MRO providers
• Shape the Americas go-to-market plan with European Business Development
• Represent NERD.aero at US industry events (NBAA-BACE, S&D, and niche events)
• Build the CRM, pipeline, and forecasting foundations that a future US team will inherit

What we are looking for

• 5+ years sales experience within the aviation industry, ideally with a strong focus on business aviation.
• Deep aviation industry knowledge and network — ideally business aviation or airline
• Comfort selling consultative services and custom software in long, complex cycles
• Based in Florida or willing to relocate; 30–50% travel across the Americas
