Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Head of GTM role based in San Francisco, CA. The Head of GTM will design and lead the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for Helm AI, including segmentation, positioning, pricing, and commercialization of new and existing products. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and managing a high-performing GTM organization across sales, marketing, and customer success, while setting clear targets and operational metrics. The person in this role will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to shape roadmaps based on market insights and customer feedback, and will lead strategic account development, from prospecting through closing and expansion. The Head of GTM will also develop scalable playbooks, refine messaging for multiple buyer personas, and represent Helm AI at key customer meetings, industry events, and partner engagements.
Qualifications

• Extensive experience owning and executing go-to-market strategy for B2B or enterprise software products, ideally in AI, data, or complex decision-support domains.
• Proven track record building, leading, and mentoring high-performing sales and GTM teams, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Demonstrated success creating and refining segmentation, positioning, pricing, and packaging strategies that drive revenue growth and market adoption.
• Strong background in enterprise sales, including managing long, consultative sales cycles with senior stakeholders and navigating complex buying committees.
• Ability to translate technical capabilities into clear, compelling value propositions tailored to business, technical, and operational audiences.
• Experience establishing data-driven GTM operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, funnel optimization, and KPI tracking.
• Comfort working in an early-stage or high-growth environment, with the ability to create structure, processes, and playbooks from scratch.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience representing an organization in executive meetings, board updates, and public forums.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with a history of partnering effectively with product, engineering, marketing, and operations teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus but not required.
