The Makeup Exchange is seeking an autonomous, high-energy, and meticulously organized Head of B2B Sales to completely own and execute our sales division . This is a solo operator / individual contributor position (90% Execution, 10% Strategy) designed for a true full-cycle hunter who thrives on building long-term relationships, digging for new accounts, and managing the entire pipeline from scratch.
You will not be managing a team of salespeople; instead, you will single-handedly drive the department’s day-to-day operations . This role requires an exceptional balance of highly social relationship-building and disciplined “grunt-level” sales execution—including rigorous database mining, custom proposal building, and flawless CRM hygiene . Experience within the closeout, off-price, or beauty liquidation industries is a massive advantage.

Required Profile & Skills
Industry Experience
Heavy preference for candidates with a background in the closeout/off-price distribution industry, particularly selling beauty, cosmetics, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) to major off-price retailers.
Sales Style
A dedicated “hunter” mentality . Comfortable with high-volume outreach, cold sourcing, and the everyday grit required to unlock new business . Highly relationally and socially oriented.
Execution & Focus
Obsessively organized and detail-oriented . You take pride in structured processes, building customized corporate proposals, and keeping an immaculate CRM database without needing oversight.
Autonomy
A self-starter who values absolute ownership . You are looking to carry a department’s sales goals on your back and prefer executing deals over managing people.
