Hazmat Technician Full Time

Ambipar Response is an environmental service company with multiple facility locations that currently has an immediate opening for Hazmat Technicians. We are willing to train the right person. This position is one of responsibility and trust. As such, it requires the utmost in professionalism, integrity, and dependability. The core responsibilities of this position are as follows:

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate equipment and vehicles per company policy.
• Available for on-call emergency response service including the clean-up of hazardous / non-hazardous waste spills, site remediation, and waste management.
• Confined space entry and rescue.
• Be available for overtime and out of town work as requested.
• Ability to engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting 50lbs.
• Accurately complete and submit time sheets and vehicle logs and work updates.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in and around office, yards, warehouses and trucks.

Qualifications: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Must complete all required in-house specific safety training
• Complete pre-employment physical, D&A test and background check
• Ability to travel out of town on short notice for extended periods of time
• Work in extreme weather conditions and temperature
• Strong work ethic and professionalism.
• Willingness to learn and positive attitude

Benefits: Earned paid time off after six (6) months.

• Paid time off (PTO) accrued daily, up to max of 40hrs.
