GMP Operator Full Time NEW

• Ability to demonstrate the proper use of sanitizing ingredients according to established procedures and SDS.
• Follow good manufacturing guidelines and 5S procedures
• Safely operate electric and manual pallet jacks to move tote bins and pumping and cleaning equipment.
• Clean and sanitize tools, pumps, tanks, tote bins, portables, pipelines and other equipment.
• Set pumps and connect pipes & hoses to deliver finished batches to filling lines
• Accurately document and record information such as chemical used, time, cleaning procedure, etc.
• Other duties as required
• Prepare lines and pumps with supervision in a timely manner to maintain production schedule.
• Ensure production/processing equipment is ready for use when needed and that equipment performs to pre-established standards.
• Perform various “minor” maintenance responsibilities, repairs and modifications to production/processing equipment.
• Answer calls to work on down lines;
• Maintain knowledge and practice of Quality and Safety Policies, Kettle/ Line Manual Book Procedures, Good Manufacturing Procedures, and Reject Percent
• Demonstrate knowledge of cylinders/valves/pneumatic equipment.
• Document time spent on each task daily
• Clean equipment and perform other custodial responsibilities.
• Follow TPM methodologies from inception to completion
• Analyze downtime using information where appropriate for improvement.
• Visually inspect product purge for quality assurance, verify product labels and I.D. numbers correspond to products being produced, and perform quality assurance
• Constantly perform one and/or all of the following movements/functions: Handle, reach, feel, properly handle and manipulate water exceeding 120F degrees
• Perform fine motor manipulations with their hands, and performing gross motor manipulations involved in assembly
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds. Pushing or pulling more than 165 lbs. if necessary
• All other duties as assigned.
