Glass Installer Full Time NEW

Our company specializes in commercial, residential, and automotive glass work. Including but not limited to storefronts, shower doors, table tops, insulated glass , mirrors, and automotive glass repairs . The new hire must know how to read and measure with a measuring tape. He/she must be able to lift heavy glass, shower doors, mirrors and boxes. Be punctual. Will be trained on how to use polishing machines. Must have knowledge in hand tools and tape measures. Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and be authorized to work in the U.S.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in construction; at least 6 months related experience/training
• Ability to measure accurately and use tape measures and levels to measure for new windows and glass including proper framing/visual components to ensure the glass is sealed properly
• Ability to read and understand measure/drawing documents and perform necessary tasks
• Experience using power tools such as drills and saws
• Excellent communication skills, Positive attitude along with the ability to work well with others a must
• Maintains a clean, organized, and properly stocked company vehicle, promptly reporting any maintenance needs or mechanical problems
• Detail oriented and able to meet deadlines; there are many jobs that go on daily and it is crucial everything is done according to the installation time schedule
• Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED
• Ability to work in the United States

Pay: Varies based off of experience

Schedule:

• 40+ hours a week
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Glass Installation: 1 year (Preferred)
• Shower Door Installer: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
• US Work Authorization (Required)
