About The Role

We are seeking a talented Fullstack Software Engineer to join our remote team, with the opportunity to work from Nebraska, Colorado, Washington, Arizona, Utah, Texas, Indiana, Illinois, or Ohio. The role involves collaborating closely with our product and design teams to translate product visions into scalable, reliable solutions. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our engineering and product strategies, with ownership and autonomy to ship high-quality code regularly. Your work will focus on developing tested, scalable core features integrated seamlessly with our API-driven frontend, contributing significantly to major roadmap initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to be involved in meaningful projects, influence product development, and grow your technical expertise within a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in full-stack development with expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js
• Experience building and maintaining web applications at scale, with a focus on user experience
• Strong understanding of relational databases and data management
• Familiarity with serverless computing platforms such as AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Run, or Cloudflare Workers (a major plus)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for continuous delivery, iterative development, and delivering value to customers
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Ability to work remotely with quarterly travel to Omaha HQ as required

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and design teams to implement product features and enhancements
• Translate product requirements into scalable, maintainable code
• Develop and maintain core features of the platform, ensuring high performance and reliability
• Write and execute comprehensive tests to ensure code quality and stability
• Participate actively in product strategy discussions and contribute to roadmap planning
• Deploy code to production frequently, maintaining a focus on continuous delivery
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical improvements
• Engage in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance product development
