Full Job Description
Purpose: Performs patient services using imaging modalities, performs radiographic procedures, applies principles of radiation protection, and evaluates radiographs for technical quality.
Qualifications:
- Valid license from Louisiana Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners.
- Competency in components of radiography practice is appropriate.
- Computer knowledge; typing skills.
- Ability to tolerate great number of phone interruptions throughout workday.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Possesses positive customer service skills.
Working Conditions:
- Employee will be lifting and carrying up to 30% of the day.
- Employee will be sitting 5% of the day.
- Employee will be standing and walking 50% of the day.
- Employee will be twisting, climbing, kneeling, stooping, and bending 5% of the day.
- Employee will be reaching at or above shoulder level 10% of the day.
