We are seeking a full time outpatient therapist specifically for couples and family work. An LMFT credential is not required. Experience with couples counseling or a strong interest in developing couples work as a specialty is required for this position. It helps if you address this interest in a very brief cover letter or message with your application.
The LodeStone Center for Behavioral Health is a large outpatient group private practice that has been in the community for over 15 years. We are clinician owned and clinician led, with a collaborative community of providers including psychologists, clinical social workers, professional counselors and nurse practitioners. We provide the full range of mental health services including psychotherapy, psychological testing and medication management.
At LodeStone Center, we believe that if our staff is well-cared for, good client care will follow. Clinician well-being is our highest priority. In addition, a sense of connection, community, and inclusiveness amongst staff is highly valued. The ideal candidate will appreciate working with a diverse caseload and learning about multicultural factors in the therapeutic relationship. Clinicians at LodeStone are expected to provide gender-affirming and culturally-sensitive care to clients.
This position is available for a full time Psychologist, Professional Counselor or Clinical Social Worker. A current active license in Illinois is required. While there is a Telehealth component to this position, an in-office presence is required as needed to establish your caseload. Our clinic owns two buildings on the historic Woodstock Square surrounded by coffee shops, a city park and a farmer’s market twice a week, making for great in-office days.
