As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you’ll support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living independently, building confidence, and experiencing meaningful moments every day.

What You’ll Actually Do

No two shifts look exactly the same – and that’s what makes this role rewarding.

As a DSP, you’ll help individuals:

• Live independently in their home
• Shop, cook, and manage daily routines
• Get to appointments and community activities
• Build confidence and life skills
• Experience new opportunities and meaningful moments

You’ll also:

• Support medication administration and health-related needs
• Complete electronic documentation and service notes
• Assist with household routines and daily living activities
• Respond to behavioral or emergency situations using provided training
• Build positive, meaningful relationships with the individuals you support

What We’re Looking For

You do not need previous DSP experience – we can teach the skills.

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility needs
• Comfortable using computers and electronic documentation systems
• Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
• Willingness to complete required training and certifications
