About The Role

We are seeking a motivated and innovative Mid-level Software Developer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a professional with 5-7 years of experience in software development to contribute to high-impact projects. As part of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, creating, and implementing web-based applications that meet client specifications and project requirements. Your work will involve collaborating with senior developers and stakeholders to interpret project briefs, develop scalable solutions, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.

This position is based in Northern Virginia with the flexibility of remote work. It requires the ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust Level 5 Clearance, with U.S. Citizenship as a prerequisite. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development
• Proficiency in React/NextJS, Typescript, Electron, and JavaScript
• Experience with Web Services (SOAP or REST)
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, Postgres, and MongoDB
• Experience with Sequelize and JUnit (TDD/TFD)
• Familiarity with development tools like Visual Studio Code, PGAdmin, and MongoDB Compass
• Foundational knowledge of version control systems, especially Git
• Experience with RAD/Visual Studio and Windows Desktop OS
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn new technologies
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DHS Public Trust Level 5 Clearance

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior developers to design, develop, test, and debug software applications
• Interpret project briefs and translate requirements into functional, efficient code
• Assist in gathering and refining technical requirements with stakeholders
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Write and maintain clear, reliable, and scalable code aligned with project objectives
• Contribute to the development of Java-based applications across multiple tiers
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects promptly to ensure timely delivery
