Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Berkeley, CA, for a Founding Full Stack Deployment Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for designing, optimizing, developing, and implementing end-to-end software solutions, including both front-end and back-end components. Daily tasks include writing and maintaining code, testing and debugging systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and managing deployments. The engineer will play a key role in scaling systems and ensuring the seamless integration of software and sensor technologies as part of Flowstate’s foundational team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Full-Stack Development, including Back-End Web Development and Front-End Development
• Preferred proficiency in python
• Experience with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and other front-end frameworks
• Strong expertise in Software Development, with the ability to manage end-to-end solutions
• Problem-solving abilities and experience working in collaborative, agile environments
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working in an on-site, startup environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Ability to leverage AI-assisted development tools while maintaining strong technical understanding, oversight, and ownership of implemented systems
• Knowledge of intelligent sensor systems or IoT technologies is a plus
