Full Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fireplace Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate is willing to learn and preform various construction tasks, including framing, remodeling, and tile laying. This role involves installing and restoring fireplaces in residential and commercial settings, ensuring safety and functionality while delivering high-quality workmanship.
Duties
- Install and restore fireplaces, ensuring compliance with safety standards and local building codes.
- Perform framing carpentry to support fireplace installations.
- Utilize caulking techniques to seal joints and prevent air leaks.
- Fabricate custom components as needed for unique installations.
- Operate heavy equipment safely on construction sites when required.
- Lay tiles for fireplace surrounds, ensuring a professional finish.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Familiarity with caulking techniques and carpentry is preferred.
- Reliable transportation with a valid drivers license.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy materials as needed.
Experience in Construction is preferred, but not required.
