Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced, detailed-driven environment where organization, numbers, and people all intersect? Local Commercial Cleaning Company is looking for a Financial Coordinator to support the financial operations and overall administration of our growing firm.
The Financial Coordinator is responsible for managing day-to-day financial and administrative functions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, financial reporting, and HR-related administration. This role works closely with leadership to ensure accurate financial records, efficient processes, and strong internal support for our team and clients.
Essential functions for this role included, but are not limited to:
· Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and follow-up on past-due balances
· Process bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy with deductions, taxes, and benefit withholdings
· Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and maintain the general ledger
· Prepare financial and profitability reports using QuickBooks Online
· Maintain proper coding of income and expenses by project or job
· Assist with annual insurance audits and maintain company registrations
· · Maintain accurate financial systems and data integrity through QuickBooks Online
· Provide administrative and reporting support to leadership and assist with internal process improvements
Support employee onboarding, benefits administration, and PTO tracking
· Perform other duties as needed to support the business and team
Successful Candidates will have:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
· 5+ years of experience in financial administration, bookkeeping, and/or accounting support
· Hands-on, proficient experience with QuickBooks Online
· · Proficiency with Microsoft Office
· Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet recurring deadlines
· Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
· Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and ability to work independently
