Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Field and Shop Service Technician / CDL Pump Truck Driver to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on mechanical expertise with skilled driving of heavy-duty pump trucks, supporting both field operations and shop maintenance. Your proactive approach will help keep our operations running smoothly while delivering exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL pump trucks safely and efficiently to Pump septic and grease traps and support field operations.
• 5 am start time, 8+ hour workday, can be adjusted by manager and employee

·responsible for vacuum truck driving and service of all liquid waste accounts, special pickups and emergency pickups possible

· organize and monitor cooking oil, grease and septic transfers

· assist with vehicle fleet operations, maintenance and condition

· Comfortable driving a manual transmission

· assist with shop organization

· Special projects as requested by manager(s)

• Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on vehicles, septic and grease trap pump stations.
• Maintain detailed service records of repairs performed on equipment and vehicles; ensure all maintenance complies with safety standards.
• Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and vehicle driving; ensure compliance with DOT regulations for CDL drivers
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong customer service abilities; able to communicate technical information clearly.
• Physically capable of heavy lifting; comfortable working in various environments including shop floors or outdoor job sites.

Pay: $29.00 – $33.00 per hour
