Full Job Description
Gregg Young Indianola is searching for an Express Service Technician to join our TEAM at our Buick GMC dealership.
Starting with our first dealership over 26 years ago and expanding to 12 dealerships spread throughout NE, IA, and WI, we aim to continue growing our business while simultaneously growing our people and their career paths all while holding true to our 4 Core Values: Ambition, Integrity, Execution, and Serves Others.
Express Service Technician Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have automotive knowledge and will be performing a variety of vehicle mechanical & maintenance services.
- previous dealership or automotive repair experience preferred
- automotive mechanical knowledge required
- specializing in express vehicle maintenances: oil changes, tires including, rotations/mounting/balancing/stemming
- conduct multi-point video inspections
- establish working relationships with the Service Advisors and Service Manager while working independently as rapidly as possible to service the concern and get on to the next job
- inspecting and test-driving vehicles to ensure all features function properly
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
- proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and various maintenance machines
- document all work performed and abide by the trained protocols & procedures
- additional assistance where needed in shop upkeep, shop supplies, and shop cleanliness
Express Service Technician Employment Package:
Hours & Compensation
- Monday – Friday 8am-5pm and rotating Saturdays 8am-1pm
- up to $18/hour – experience dependent
