Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented PI Settlement Negotiator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for negotiating settlements in personal injury cases, ensuring that clients receive fair compensation for their injuries. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various legal frameworks and demonstrate exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Duties

• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing parties on behalf of clients.
• Review case files and gather necessary documentation to support settlement claims.
• Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses to gather relevant information.
• Transcribe statements and prepare detailed reports for case evaluations.
• Collaborate with attorneys to develop effective negotiation strategies.
• Stay informed about developments in personal injury law, including workers compensation law, immigration law, estate planning, and tribal law regulations.
• Maintain organized records of negotiations and communications related to each case.
• Provide executive administrative support as needed to facilitate the negotiation process.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of personal injury law.
• Fluent in English & Spanish
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Proficient in transcribing interviews and preparing comprehensive reports.
• Strong interviewing skills to effectively gather information from clients and witnesses.
• Ability to litigate when necessary and advocate for client interests during negotiations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
