Full Job Description
**Requires a minimum of 2-3 years of experience working on & repairing major household appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, ranges, & microwaves) doing reconditioning, shop repairs, etc. (no exceptions).
- Training Pay: $25-$30/hour
- In-shop position
- Guaranteed year-round, full-time work in a Recession-proof industry
- No on-call ~ No weekends ~ No holidays ~ Monday through Friday position
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with household appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, microwaves, and gas/electric ranges
- Repair and replace faulty components using hand tools and power tools
- Assemble and disassemble appliances as needed for repairs
- Test repaired appliances to ensure proper functioning
- Outstanding diagnostic/problem-solving skills
- Must provide your own tool
Skills:
- Minimum 2-3 years repairing major household appliances
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems
- Experience with refrigeration systems & sealed systems is a plus
