Position Overview
This is an excellent entry-level legal opportunity for someone organized, professional, and interested in growing within a law firm environment. The role supports a litigation team and focuses heavily on obtaining, organizing, and maintaining medical records for personal injury matters.
Key Responsibilities
Retrieve and organize medical records from hospitals, doctors’ offices, and other providers
Communicate with medical providers and clients regarding records requests and follow-up
Review records for completeness and identify gaps in treatment or documentation
Maintain and organize digital files and exhibits within the case management system
Ensure confidential handling of sensitive medical information
Assist with record summaries, chronologies, and billing summaries as needed
Work closely with attorneys and paralegals on active litigation matters
Training & Support
Hands-on training provided by the current records team and paralegals
Ongoing support from supervising paralegal and litigation team
Compensation & Benefits
Pay up to $28/hour

Requirements
Prior office experience required; law firm experience is a plus
Ability to work fully onsite
Strong organizational skills and professionalism
Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
