Consumer Electronics Repair Specialist
1-2 Years Consumer Electronic Repair Experience
Solid Pay Rate, Commissions and Monthly Bonuses.

Position Details:
Serve customers by diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing devices while ensuring customer satisfaction. This position is for an in-store repair specialist that would interact with walk in customers, answer phones and complete repairs inside the comfort of a retail location. The specialist will perform a quality electronics repair and follow up with the customer by offering an extension of the customers current insurance policy as part of the repair. Sale of the insurance product is how specialists make sales commissions. Asurion is the leader in consumer electronic repair insurance and is a well-known brand which makes for a pretty easy sale.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
– Greet customers in a friendly manner and maintain a positive work environment
– Inform customers of job status (Repair in Progress, Repair Complete, Ready for Pick up, etc.)
– Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair consumer electronic devices
– Provide recommendations for problem resolution
– Explain complex technical issues to customers in a non-technical, simple to understand manner
– Provide repair and replacement estimates to customers
– Ensure that all repairs meet or exceed Asurion/uBreakiFix quality standards
– Answer phone calls with a professional, courteous and friendly demeanor
– Ensure that customers have an enjoyable experience by providing superior customer service and exceeding customer expectations
– Keep track of all devices and inventory while safeguarding stock
– Utilize the point of sale system to maintain an accurate record of customer information and a real- time status of each repair
– Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the store

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Outstanding customer service skills
– Excellent technical, problem solving, and analytical skills
– Exceptional organizational skills
– Strong written and oral communication skills
– Work well individually
– Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
– High school diploma or GED,
– Ability to pass Driving, Drug, and Background Screening
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience repairing electronics, smartphones, PC/MACs, and game consoles
– Previous experience working at a retail electronics store
– Working toward an associate or bachelor’s degree program
– Relevant industry certifications: A+, ACMT, WISE, CIS, CIT
– Experience Micro Soldering
