Full Job Description
New Gen Print & Design is looking for an experienced embroidery machine operator to join our production team. We are a fast-paced apparel decoration shop specializing in high-volume embroidery, screen printing, and custom merchandise.
We are specifically looking for someone with strong experience operating Tajima embroidery machines who can confidently run hats, flats, 3D puff, Applique, and large-scale embroidery production with consistency and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Operate Tajima embroidery machines efficiently and independently
- Run hats, flats, jackets, bags, and other garments
- Handle high-volume production while maintaining quality standards
- Hoop, load, thread, and monitor machines throughout production
- Catch and correct issues before products leave production
- Maintain clean embroidery quality, alignment, and stitch consistency
- Work with the production team to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
Requirements:
- Previous embroidery production experience required
- Tajima machine experience strongly preferred
- Experience running hats and flat embroidery
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced shop environment
Preferred:
- Experience with large-scale embroidery production
- Knowledge of digitizing basics and embroidery setup
- Experience with multi-head machines
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Pay:
Based on experience ($16-$18/hr)
