JLL is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sr Electrical Engineer – Electrical Studies to execute complex power system analysis and electrical studies. This role will support a wide range of projects, including utility-scale substations, industrial power systems, and arc flash analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power systems engineering, proven project leadership skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. This position can be based out of NYC in a Hybrid capacity working from home and out of our Palisades, NY office or out of Houston, TX (Remote).Key Responsibilities QualificationsRequired: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems focus preferred). 10+ years of experience on electrical power distribution system design and commissioning. 5 years of experience performing electrical studies and system analysis. Strong proficiency in power system modeling and simulation tools. Working knowledge of industry standards (IEEE, IEC, NESC, NEC, etc.). Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Preferred: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Estimated compensation for this position: 130,000.00 – 160,000.00 USD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ.
