We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Drywall Foreman to lead and oversee drywall installation projects on construction sites. This role is pivotal in ensuring that drywall work is executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. As a Drywall Foreman, you will coordinate crews, manage schedules, interpret blueprints and schematics, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Your leadership will drive project success from start to finish, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes quality, safety, and timely delivery.

Duties

• Lead and supervise drywall installation teams on active construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute drywall layouts and installations.
• Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks to crew members, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure all team members adhere to OSHA standards and other safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, or similar tools for project tracking, scheduling, and documentation.
• Conduct quality control inspections to verify that drywall work meets industry standards and client expectations; address any deficiencies promptly.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other trades to facilitate seamless workflow and resolve any on-site issues related to schematics or technical specifications.
• Manage materials inventory including drywall sheets, fasteners, tools.
• Oversee subcontractor activities when applicable and ensure all contractual obligations are met with precision.
• Maintain detailed records of daily progress, safety incidents, material usage, and labor hours for accurate reporting.

Experience

• Proven management experience as a Drywall Foreman or in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Extensive construction site experience with a strong understanding of drywall installation processes.
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately.
• Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam Revu, Primavera P6 or Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM), HeavyBid or similar tools for project scheduling and documentation.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to construction safety practices; ability to enforce safety standards consistently on-site.
• Experience supervising crews in large-scale projects with multiple trades involved; strong leadership skills in managing teams effectively.
• Skills in construction estimating and budgeting are advantageous for resource planning purposes.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with project stakeholders including clients, contractors, suppliers, and team members.
