Work Hours and Location:
Candidates must have weekend availability throughout the year as a part of their regular schedule, as occasional weekend shifts are an essential aspect of this position. Flexibility to work additional hours, including holidays, may also be required based on the needs of the business.
The reporting location for this position is Brewster, NY.

Job Requirements:
This position is responsible for assisting the Driver in every aspect of product delivery to customer stores in an efficient and safe manner by following all company procedures.

• Unload products at customer location and place in an appropriate storage facility (i.e.: cooler or dry storage area).
• Properly use double-count techniques to ensure accurate delivery of the product.
• Properly use unloading techniques to ensure the safety of self and others and to eliminate damage to the product.
• Properly use customer service best practices to ensure consistent quality service to our customers.
• Properly use accessory equipment such as ramps, load-locks, straps, and parking hand trucks to ensure safety and minimal maintenance costs.
• Assist the driver to spot danger when driving a truck or trailer in reverse.
• Store equipment and supplies to keep the truck organized.
• Perform a checklist of trucks to ensure all safety equipment and supplies are available.
• Support warehouse functions as needed.
• Cleans inside of the truck.
• In case of an accident or other emergency, the Driver Helper is responsible to set Road flares or warning triangles, etc.
• Other duties may be assigned by Management.
