Donald Myers Education Center, Saratoga SpringsWork Hours: Flexible scheduling days, nights, weekends Responsible for teaching driver education using instructional methods in both a classroom and laboratory setting. Plan lessons and curriculum based on the learning needs of culturally diverse and multi-skill-level students which prepare students to gain/increase skills in the area of driver’s education. Ensures adherence to all safety standards and practices, including oversight, care and maintenance of facilities, equipment and materials. Plan and prepare relevant and practical class lessons and monitor students’ performance. Implement a variety of instructional delivery methods that include group or individualized instruction as well as computer programs that help students make learning gains. Create a climate that encourages and supports learning. Complete and maintain appropriate student registration, attendance, and assessment records. Responsible for effective classroom management that enhances student learning Perform other duties as assigned.
