Hiring a part-time up to full-time Behind-The-Wheel driving education instructor in Central Minnesota. This position is primarily focused in the Little Falls, Royalton, Pierz, Swanville area. Must live within 30min of the Little Falls and surrounding towns area.
Live North East of the Brainerd Lakes? We are also currently hiring an instructor for the Aitkin, Crosby area.
We will train and license you as a Driving Education Behind The Wheel Instructor certified by the state of MN. We provide a company owned vehicle with special safety equipment as you work with students in 2hr Behind the Wheel sessions. We fill and book your schedule, you define the days and times you want to work each month.

Join our growing team as a Driver Education Instructor, where you will play a vital role in the community teaching and guiding students working their way to obtaining their drivers license. This paid position helps students develop essential driving skills, gain confidence and understand the importance of safety and responsibility behind the wheel. A great part-time income opportunity, many of our employees have worked with us long term. Full-time opportunities also available.

POSITION OVERVIEW, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Conduct practical behind-the-wheel training sessions with students, demonstrating proper vehicle control and road safety skills.
-Each student session is 2hrs in length. Work a 4hr, 6hr or 8hr shift, you choose.
-Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
-Ensure all training sessions adhere to state regulations and standards.
-Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
-Communicate clearly with students about expectations, safety protocols and promote confidence and skills when operating a motor vehicle.
-Collaborate with administrative staff to certify students when completing the program.
-Maintain driving logs and records.
-Ensure vehicle safety and readiness.
-Maintain a clean, smoke free company vehicle.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
-Must be at least 21 years old.
-High School Education or higher.
-Must pass MN required background checks (no Gross Misdemeanor, etc).
-Clean driving record.
-Must hold a valid MN drivers license.
-Ability to be calm, safety-focused in various traffic environments.
-Prior working experience with youth, students or teens a plus, but not required.
-Demonstrate and model safe driving behaviors and professionalism.

Create your own schedule – Behind the Wheel sessions are held during and after school, mornings, evenings, weekends, flexible options, you choose what works best for you. Sessions are 2hrs, daily shift/schedule options of 4, 6 or 8 hrs.
