Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Dispatch Specialist. The Dispatch Specialist coordinates and schedules service requests, work orders, and maintenance activities within the ViZYON Smart Facility Ecosystem. In this role, you will receive and prioritize incoming calls, emails, and digital requests, then assign and dispatch appropriate service providers or internal teams based on location, expertise, and urgency. You will monitor job progress, update records and systems in real time, and communicate with customers, technicians, and suppliers to ensure clear expectations, timely arrivals, and accurate completion details. The Dispatch Specialist will also troubleshoot scheduling conflicts, escalate critical issues, maintain service level targets, and contribute to continuous improvement of dispatch processes and customer experience.
Qualifications

• Strong coordination and scheduling skills, including experience managing work orders, assigning resources, and optimizing routes or calendars.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities, with the capacity to interact professionally with customers, technicians, and suppliers across phone, email, and digital platforms.
• Proficiency with dispatch, CRM, or work order management systems, and comfort working in cloud-based or platform-driven environments.
• Solid organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent requests and priorities.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle urgent service issues, resolve conflicts, and escalate when necessary.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, demonstrate reliability, and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
• Prior experience in facilities management, field service, logistics, or dispatch operations is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, operations, or a related field is an asset.
