Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher and Prep Cook who knows how to cut meats and vegetables to join our culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of food preparation and cleanliness in our kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, possess strong culinary skills, and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in restaurants, hotels, or catering services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
• Support banquet service by setting up dining areas, serving food, and clearing tables as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Perform regular cleaning duties to maintain a sanitary work environment.
• Assist with inventory management by reporting supplies that need replenishment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, including roles such as cook or dishwasher.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
• Experience with banquet service or catering is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting.
• A passion for hospitality and providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
