The Director of Patient Care Services (DPCS) is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and supervision of clinical services for the home health agency. This role ensures that patient care is delivered in accordance with physician orders, CMS Conditions of Participation (42 CFR Part 484), and applicable state regulations, while maintaining high standards of quality, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency.
The DPCS is accountable for clinical oversight, staff competency, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Required
· Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas
· Minimum 2 years clinical experience, with at least 1 year in home health
· Demonstrated knowledge of CMS Conditions of Participation (CoPs)
· Experience in clinical supervision and staff management
· Strong understanding of OASIS, care planning, and Medicare regulations
· Ability to travel as needed for patient care oversight and staff support
· Ability to perform duties in a clinical and office environment
Preferred
· Previous experience as Director of Nursing/Patient Care Services / Clinical Manager in Home Health
· Experience with survey readiness and regulatory compliance
· Knowledge of Texas HCSSA regulations
