Job Summary
Under the direction of Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, the Director of Maintenance, Operations & Transportation will plan, coordinate and supervise the facilities, maintenance and operations to ensure the best educational environment possible. This includes supervision of construction projects, development and planning, facility use, energy management, and related projects, maintenance and operations, custodial operations, groups operation, mechanical systems maintenance, transportation services, and specialized services. This position will serve on the Superintendents Extended Cabinet. Efficient and cost-effective departmental operations: supervises, trains, and evaluates staff; coordinates the construction and maintenance work of outside contractors; and performs other related work as required.
